July 20, 1953 – April 12, 2023
Alan Wayne Pulver 69, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2023, at his home with his wife Betty by his side. Al was born July 20, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan to Esther Belle Whitmyer and Bruce James Pulver.
Al attended Seminole Jr. College and Two Rivers Training Center. He was employed by Pepsi and was a faithful, compassionate Pastor at Covenant Harvest Ministries for 23 years. He served in the United States Army and received the National Defense Service Medal.
Al met the love of his life Betty, and they were married May 22, 1992. Al and Betty became members of Morning Star Evangelistic Center November 1997 and were both became ordained ministers to Covenant Harvest Ministries in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 2000. They were later commissioned to Apostle by Dr. John Benefield and Dr. Negiel Bigpond on October 23, 2020, at Church on the Rock in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Al loved music, playing his guitar, singing, and praising the Lord. He loved reading the word daily and praying.
His desire was to win souls for the Lord, and he had a heart for all people. Al never met a stranger; he was always friendly and quick to pray for you. He was involved in the Sapulpa Ministries Alliance, CHM Prayer Group, Enter-Tribal Prayer Network, MCN National Day of Prayer and Americorp Vista Program.
Al was known for his music, powerful voice for singing English and Tribal songs. He will be greatly missed for these gifts that the Lord blessed him with; his favorite song was "Glory Glory."
Al is survived by his loving wife Betty; children Angie, Chris, Bruce and Josh Pulver; stepchildren Sonya Squire, LaDonna Cantrell and David Foster; many adopted spiritual children; brother Rocky and family; a host of brothers and sisters in the Lord and uncle Joe E. Watashe and family.
Wake services will be from 6-9pm, Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Traditions Funeral Chapel. Services will be 10am, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Morning Star Evangelistic Center. Burial will be 2:30pm, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
