IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna M.
Dillman
April 24, 1932 – March 23, 2022
Anna Mae Dillman 89, of Sand Springs, passed from this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022, just one month before her 90 th birthday. She was born April 24, 1932, in Glenpool, Oklahoma to Clint and Allie (Simons) Merchant. Ann grew up in Glenpool and graduated from Glenpool Public School.
After knowing each other all their lives, Ann and Cortis Dillman were married on May 18, 1950. They were blessed with two sons Danny Ray Dillman and Ronald Wayne Dillman. As a family they lived in Okemah from 1954-1963 later moving to Hominy from 1963-1976 where Ann and Cortis stayed until their boys finished high school. They then moved to Sapulpa to be closer to family members and spent the rest of their lives there. Ann worked throughout her life and retied as an office manager for Hesselbein Tire in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ann and Cortis were highly active in their churches, most recently at Victory Christian Center, always volunteering to serve wherever they were needed. They also loved to travel and lived as much as they could in their motorhome. They got to spend several winters in south Texas, and in the summer, they spent weeks at Branson and at Grand Lake, where they kept their pontoon boat. They both loved to fish but were always willing to pull the grandkids all over the lake on the inflatables.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Clint and Allie Merchant; husband Cortis Dillman; son Ronald Wayne Dillman; grandson Kevin Andrew Dillman and brother Billy Tom Merchant.
She is survived by son Danny Dillman and wife Jacki of Sand Springs; daughter-in-law Lynn Dillman of Eufaula; granddaughter Annie Don Frank; great-granddaughters Quinna, Allie, Shelbie and Lillie Frank; sister Linda Day of Sapulpa and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
