Bettie Jo Fox, 57, of Henryetta, passed from this life Thursday, July 30, 2026. Bettie was born on September 14, 1968 at the Claremore Indian Hospital. She was born to Barbara Brown and Richard Fox. She attended and graduated from Kellyville High School in May 1987. She was a longtime member of Polecat Ceremonial Ground. She was a longtime OSU fan. She was a proud mother of 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She was a friend to many.
She used to work at the Bingo Hall before it became the River Spirit Casino, and she was also a teacher’s aide at Will Rogers Elementary in Stillwater. She loved to color, loved listening to her music, loved her family dinners with her kids and holidays with her kids and in secret she was always reading her Bible. She was a movie buff, and she was really good at playing pool
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorene Dunn & Joe Brown; great-grandparents, Martha Watashe and Ralph Dun; her son Christopher, and her husbands, Maxie Dunn and Shawn Bernard.
She is survived by her children, Brandi Ribordy, Aaron Fox, Shaun Bernard, Summer Bernard and Breann Berna; grandchildren, Rachael Dunn, Peyton Robinson-Bernard, Asmodeus Bernard and Aasiah Bernard
She will be dearly missed by many, but the memories that she left with everyone will stay with us forever. If you knew Bettie, there is one thing she definitely taught us in life and that is to always speak your mind and always be heard.
