IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Frances
Kimbel
December 29, 1938 – December 26, 2021
Betty Frances Kimbel, passed from this life Sunday, December 26, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born December 29, 1938, in Depew, Oklahoma to David Jones and Grace Allen Jones-Hardridge.
Betty lived in Depew during her early years. She graduated from Sequoyah Boarding School where she attended 1 st through 12 th grade. She later moved to Kellyville where she lived most of her life. She worked as a certified nurse's assistant for many years, putting in many long hours to provide for her family.
Betty enjoyed her golden years by visiting casinos and spending time with her family and friends. She had a witty demeanor and loved to joke and laugh with everyone. At one time Betty was writing her own obituary and said, "she didn't need makeup, she was a natural beauty." She always worried how others were doing and she made it a priority to call her children nightly and tell them she loved them and that she prayed for them. She wished the best for everyone, and she was loved deeply by so many. We will always have her in our hearts and in our memories. She will be greatly missed, and we will cherish the moments we had with her. Someone stated that if she had her choice she would be buried by the Golden Pony.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents David Jones and Grace Allen Jones-Hardridge and sons Mike Messer and Mark Messer.
She is survived by sons Steven Leon Gibbs of Coweta, Steven Jr Gibbs of Tulsa, Wesley Gibbs of Kellyville and Jeremy Gibbs of Glenpool; daughters Sandra Renee Roberts of Okay, Patricia Ann Jefferson of Bristow, Lisa June Finn of Tulsa and Pamela Hardridge of Kellyville; sisters Joyce Jennings and husband James of Okmulgee and Alice Bruner of Tulsa and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
