Betty J. Ruth Rushing was born July 16, 1937 to Rev. Carl and Roberta (Jones) Hembree in Leonard, Oklahoma.  From this union there were four children.  Betty was called to her heavenly home on June 29, 2020.  Her parents preceded her in death as well as husband Kenneth Ray Ruth.

She is survived by husband Rolland Rushing of the home; son Billy Ruth and wife Toni of Mannford; daughter Patty Harper and fiancé Jerry Bertram of Sapulpa; stepsons Robert Rushing and wife Donna of Tulsa and David Rushing of Sapulpa; stepdaughter LaVaughn Kirby and husband Mike of Bixby; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Sonny and wife Sue of Haskell; sisters Elvie Gilbert and husband Jerry of Coweta and Kay Enky and husband Doug of Coweta and a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty loved to sing gospel music and sang with family in the area for many years.  She loved her church and family.  She was a true woman of God and she will be missed by many.

There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm, Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.  Services will be 2:00pm, Monday, July 6, 2020 at Allen Church, 7001 S.
