Billie Jean LaSyone, 74, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

Billie was born May 21, 1952, in San Angelo, Texas, to W.H. Chappell and Jewel Thompson.

Billie especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her kindness and love touched the lives of those around her, and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Billie is survived by her children, Burt Wood and Brent Wood; grandchildren, Samantha, Mason, Madox, and Camdon; brother, Brad Brewer; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Mountain Creek Lodge of Oklahoma, 21301 W. 191st St. S., Kellyville, Oklahoma.
