Carol Annette Anderson, 64, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on August 17, 2026.

Carol was born on June 7, 1962, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to William and Helen Anderson. As one of 12 siblings, family was always at the center of Carol’s life. She sincerely loved her family and was deeply passionate about maintaining close family bonds and creating special memories with those she loved.

Carol spent most of her adult career working at St. John’s Sapulpa, where she was employed for more than 20 years. She was a dedicated employee and a beloved coworker who made a lasting impression on the many people she worked alongside throughout her career.

Carol will be remembered for her generous heart, her strength, and the love she freely gave to those around her. She had a special way of making her family feel loved, cared for, and important. She spent much of her time with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly and enjoyed spoiling. Whether they were shopping together, trying a new restaurant, or simply spending time with one another, Carol treasured every opportunity to make memories with her family.

Carol also had a great love for music. Her taste included everything from gospel and Hispanic music to oldies and country and nearly everything in between. Music brought her joy and became part of many cherished memories shared with those closest to her.

Some of Carol’s favorite hobbies included cross-stitching and collecting dolphin figurines. She also loved grape snow cones and green Mexican salsa—simple favorites that those who knew her will always lovingly associate with Carol.

Carol will always be remembered for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and unforgettable personality. She was truly a spitfire who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her presence could fill a room, and her laughter, humor, generosity, and love will never be forgotten.

Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Helen Anderson; her sisters, Patricia Wilkerson and Debbie Bacon; and her brothers, Daryl Childress and Jimmy Anderson.

Carol’s love, generosity, and the beautiful memories she created will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. She will be tremendously missed by all.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 811 S. Lexington Road, Sapulpa, Oklahoma 74066.
