Charles (Chuck) James, 74, of Mounds, Oklahoma passed away from this life on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his family by his side.  Chuck graduated from Henryetta High School in 1967.  He also served our country proudly from 1967-1970.  The Army was where it was for him.  However, most people will remember Chuck from his paper routes.  He also traveled the country as a truck driver. Chuck did not meet a stranger and if he didn't know you well, he would before he left.  He was always there to help his family and friends if they needed him.

Chuck is survived by his three daughters Michelle Tiger of the home, Beth and Charles Tahkubbi of Kellyville and Elaine and Shawn Morris of Broken Arrow; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and he also leaves behind the other love of his life, his dog, Pug.  If you knew Chuck, you knew his dog.

Chuck is preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life Dianna James; parents Troy and June James; brother Troy Jr. James; grandchild Alydia Reynolds; father-in-law Robert Drew; mother-in-law Elsie Drew and son-in-law Hully Tiger.
