Obituary

Charles Lloyd Wilson, of Tulsa, OK was born 10 Aug 1944 and went to be with the Lord on 27 June 2025 at the blessed age of 80, surrounded by Love of Family and Friends.

Charles graduated from Berryhill High School. He was a great athlete playing Football, Basketball and Baseball. He honorably served in the United States Army and did a tour in Korea during the Vietnam Era. His Specialty was Stenography. He received several commendations that included a Carbine Expert, Sharpshooter (Rifle), and a National Defense Service Medal. After his Military Service and returning to Tulsa, he was employed as a United States Postal Carrier.

Charles was excellent in Pool and excelled in Bowling.  He played Horseshoes and he would give Phil Potts and Jackie Tiger a run for their money. He was the "Big Dog" for the Wilson Family Golf Tournament and was always winning the Closest to the Pin. Of course, an avid OU Sooner Football Fan. He faithfully supported the Church and would work on maintenance projects and mowed the grass for years. He always had a positive attitude; he loved to visit and laugh and eat. He would always go and spend time with his best friend, Ralph Guevara, or family for breakfast and that cup(s) of coffee. Charles will be missed dearly by his devoted Friend Gloria Quintanar.

Charles was a praying man and would pray for everyone. He was always our go-to if you needed prayers at any time. Charles supported all family get togethers and loved and prayed for all our 300+ Wilson Family. His presence will be so missed deeply by all that loved him, until we see him again.
