Cherie Renee (Brandon) Murphy, 54, of Sapulpa passed from this life Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  Cherie was born November 5, 1967, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Gene and Gloria Brandon.  She graduated in 1986 from Wagoner High School and was employed by Chuck McKinney State Farm for 24 years.

Cherie met and married Greg Murphy and they would have celebrated 33 years of marriage today, September 2.  In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on the patio playing dominoes and rummy and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her father Gene Brandon; paternal grandparents Bob and Lorena Brandon and maternal grandparents Marie and George Hughes.

Cherie is survived by her husband Greg Murphy; son Jared Murphy and wife Melinda; mother Gloria Rinehart; sister Melodie Flinn; mother-in-law Liz Murphy; brother DJ Rinehart; niece Brandi Nix and husband Jon; nephews Jackson Flinn and Damien Rinehart; great nephews Wyatt Flinn and Madox Nix; great nieces Paisley Flinn and Brinley Flinn; and many other cousins and countless friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, 1401 E. Taft Ave., Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
