Clifford Edward Akin 87, of Kellyville, went to be with the Lord on October 14th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Clifford was born June 14th, 1933 in Baxter, Arkansas to Myrtle and Edward Akin. He spent his career as a driver for various trucking companies and later worked as a semi truck mechanic at Tulsa Auto Spring where he retired in 2004.

He served his country in the United States Army where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Clifford met and later married the love of his life Dorothy Ellen Lake. They celebrated 59 wonderful years of marriage together before she passed away in 2012. They were both members of the Church of Christ in Sapulpa.

He was a devoted husband and father, and spending time with his children and grandchildren was his favorite pastime. Clifford loved spending time in his garden and sharing its yield with neighbors and family.

Clifford is survived by his siblings, Barbara Stafford, Marion Akin, and Henry Akin; his four daughters, Kathy Mancino, Neoma Cox, Myrtle Akin, and Linda Akin; his grandchildren, Christopher Bradley, Nicholas Mancino, Michael Mancino, Adam Cox, Jonathan Cox, Ellen Robinson, and Monica Akin; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Mancino, Nicholas Mancino II, Hope Bradley, Andrea Bradley, Gabriel Mancino, Justice Mancino, and Hunter Cox; his great great grandchild Steven and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 20th, 2020 at the Church of Christ, 101 S. Walnut Street in Sapulpa, OK.
