IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia "Cindy"
Ann Shelley
June 10, 1945 – September 1, 2024
Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Shelley (Strickland), born on June 10, 1945, in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, granny and great granny who filled her family's lives with love and warmth for over 79years.
Cindy is now reunited in heaven with her mother, Betty, and her son, Donald. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Don Shelley; her daughters and their spouses, Tammy and Bryan Armitage, and Traci and Tim Huff; her siblings, Tonya and Bill; her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Cindy will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, always willing to help anyone in need. Her laughter was infectious, bringing joy to every room she entered. She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. In her younger years, she loved playing softball, going fishing, and waterskiing and tubing on the lake. She also shared many hunting trips with her husband. Her adventurous spirit and love for life were evident in everything she did.
The family would like to thank Amanda, with Compassus Hospice, for her compassion, care, and support.
