Dan Corbin Jones was born on November 9, 1952, in Sapulpa, OK to Don and Shirley Jones. He departed this life on October 25, 2023 at his home in Slick, OK at the age of 70.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Jones of the home; son Price Jones and his wife Melissa of Sapulpa, son Russell Jones and wife Susan of Kellyville, son Danny Jones and wife Lois of Kellyville, son Brad Jones and wife Misty of Fredericksburg, VA; step-son Randy Wood and wife Jo of Slick, step-daughter Shelli Snelson and husband David of Slick; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren; one sister Detra Misner and husband Mark of Tulsa, OK, and a host of many other friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother David Jones, and one great grandson Lane.

Dan graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1971. He retired from the Sapulpa Police Department in 2001 as a Lieutenant after 26 years of service. Several of those years were served alongside his K-9 partner, Pepsi.

After retirement he enjoyed his time on the farm raising cattle, playing banjo, and spending time with his family.

Services will be on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church in Slick. Interment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa.
