Daniel (Danny) Charles Gregory, 61, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas, to Charles and Bernice (McFarland) Gregory.
Danny graduated from Sapulpa High School. He served in the United States Navy and was stationed in New Orleans, LA, where he received an Honorable Discharge. After returning to Sapulpa he worked with his brother, Joe Gregory as a surveyor while earning a Computer Programming Certification at Tulsa Junior College. Danny worked as a Service Technician at J.D. Young Technologies in Tulsa for many years and was looking forward to retiring.
Danny loved to hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed going out to his property, just hanging out there, doing nothing.
Danny is survived by his mother Bernice Gregory; son Joshua Gregory and wife Kristen; longtime partner Vickie Wheeler and her children Jessica Wheeler-O'Kelly and Jaimie Wheeler; grandchildren Braxton Gregory, Hunter Wheeler-O'Kelly and Noah Wheeler-O'Kelly; siblings Dolores and husband Tony Perrault, Joe Gregory, Cathy Gregory, Julie and husband Brett Gleason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny is preceded in death by his father Charles Gregory and brother Steven Gregory.
Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Burial with military honors will follow at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
