Darryl Eugene Purcell

Darryl Eugene Purcell, 59, passed away on the evening of March 9th, surrounded by the love of his family. Darryl was born on May 7, 1966, and lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and deep love for those closest to him.

Darryl proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for eight years. Following his military service, he built a career as a skilled carpenter and eventually owned his own business alongside his eldest son. He took great pride in his work and was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and the honesty he carried into everything he did.

Education was important to Darryl, and he worked diligently to further his knowledge throughout his life. He earned a master’s degree in business management, a bachelor’s degree in business management, and two associate’s degrees in small electronics—an accomplishment that reflected his determination and commitment to personal growth.

Above all else, Darryl was a family man. He loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them. He especially held a place in his heart for his mother Donna Remer and was known for his loyalty and devotion to those he loved. His children and grandchildren were a great source of pride and joy in his life.

Darryl Purcell was predeceased by his sister Deborah Roberts and father Owen Purcell.

He will also be remembered by his brother Bryan Purcell, sister Tammy Khan, and many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.
