David Charles Johnson, 71, was born on November 1, 1949 in Inglewood, California to Jack and Marjorie Johnson.  He passed from this life on March 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

David was a very proud United States Marine, serving in Vietnam.  He was a very special man to many and loved everyone and all his extended family and friends.  He was a proud husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  His family was his life and there was not anything he loved more than spending time with them.  He will be missed more than words can say.

David is survived by his wife Sherrie Linn Johnson; sons Steven Johnson, Michael Johnson, and David C. Johnson II; daughters Cynthia Chotinikorn (Trophy Mae), Dana Elliot, Kristie Blaylock, and Amanda Campbell (The Kid); brothers Steve Johnson and Greg Johnson; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his best friend Kevin Campbell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.
