Obituary

David Keith Scouten, 70, of Sand Springs, was born November 10,1949 to Edward Earl Scouten and Alice Virginia Davidson Scouten. He grew up on the family farm in Sickles, Oklahoma, and attended and graduated Lookeba-Sickles High School, in 1967.

He met Virginia Kay Frank and they were married on June 9,1973. They made their home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma until they moved to Sand Springs in 2016 where he currently resided.

Keith attended the Landmark Tabernacle Church. He was a devoted Christian who rarely missed church.

Keith was widely known, to kids and adults alike, he didn't know a stranger. He loved to greet everyone with a roll of smarties. He also loved to play the claw machines, collecting coins, wood working, being a beekeeper and making Virginia and his mother Alice happy and cherished.

Keith was a kind man who didn't know how to disappoint anyone. If he had it, it was yours, if he didn't, he would try to get it or find it, even if you didn't need it but he thought you could use it he got it.

Keith was an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
