Mother, daughter, grandmother, and best friend, DeAwna Sue Wilson entered this world on May 17, 1962, and passed mid-June 2022, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

She was a spitfire!  Anyone who knew her knows that she was a loyal friend who would do anything to help a friend or stranger and wouldn't put up with nonsense from anybody.  Music was her passion.  She would listen to music 24/7.  Her favorite artists were Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars, Eddie Money, George Michael, The Bee Gees and many more.

She loved fishing, boating, and all lake activities. She had tons of charisma, the gift of gab, and loved her friends and family with a passion as we, in turn, loved her too.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Henderson; daughter, Emily Fernandez; and cherished grandchildren:  Alexander and Madison Henderson and Cerena and Brianna Fernandez, whom she loved more than anything; and her mother, Carolyn Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Wilson,  sister, Kim Wilson, and brother, Herbie Wilson.

We will celebrate her life with a gathering at Freddie's Steakhouse in Sapulpa, this Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at 2:30 PM.
