Obituary

Deborah Lynn Hogue went to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday April 19th, 2025. Debi was Born February 7th, 1968, in Tulsa, OK to Barbara Crabtree-Jett.

She graduated from Daniel Webster High School and received her cosmetology degree from Sand Springs Cosmetology School. She worked as a homemaker for the time she was married and often contributed to the home by working part time as a photographer as well as other vocations.

Debi met and later married her beloved husband Gary "Bo" Hogue. Debi and Gary worked together throughout their marriage to make sure their kids knew Jesus and had a loving home to grow up in. They celebrated 37 years of marriage in 2024. Debi was a member of Kellyville Holiness Church. She was always involved in working for church ministries and taking care of church needs until her health declined.

She loved lending a helping hand to those in need, whether it was a fellow Christian with a need, gifting bus kids school supplies or christmas guitars they wished for, giving the homeless food, and helping those in troubled domestic home situations. She was charitable to all and had a compassionate heart for young girls who were less fortunate.

Debi was very creative and had many hobbies throughout her life, including scrapbooking, Bible study, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, photography, cooking, sourdough bread making, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She had many friends and never met a stranger. She was a jack of all trades and could do almost anything she set her mind to.

She was dedicated to working with the Tulsa Area Holiness Homeschoolers group for many years. She spent most of her time homeschooling her children, making sure they had everything they needed, driving them around to various activities, and always encouraging them to go to every church service and church event.

In the last years of her life Debi started a Bible study group with her best friends and others where she dug into the word of God more deeply.

She was loved by so many; her memory will be cherished by her family and friends and all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband Gary Hogue of Bristow, and four children Matthew Hogue of Webbers Falls, Kaylynn Hogue of Bristow, Kandace Norton and husband Paul of Depew, and Kara Hogue of Bristow. Her Brothers Johnny Harkey and wife Jane of Claremore, and Chuck Harkey. Sisters Wanda Harkey of Tulsa, and Anna Harkey of Tulsa, and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Crabtree-Jett, stepfather Sylvie King, nephew Jeremy Harkey, and niece Jennie Kifer.
