Delbert Eugene Bouse of Tulsa, OK passed from this life on December 6, 2019. Delbert was born March 29, 1935 in Oklahoma City to Garland and Cleora Bouse. He grew up in Sapulpa, graduating in 1954 from Sapulpa High School where he met his high school sweetheart Jean Cue. They were married on June 23, 1956, this union lasted 63 years.
Delbert joined the Army in September 1956 earning an "all expense" paid trip to Europe and the Middle East. He was honorably discharged in 1958.

Upon being discharged from the Army, Delbert went to work for OTASCO. This was a career that lasted for 30 years before he retired in 1988. His accomplishments at Otasco included: He had the first million-dollar store in OKC; He received both the Manager and The District Manager of the Year award for the entire company.

When he retired, Delbert and Jean began a 19-year traveling journey that would take them to every state in the lower 48 with The Hitch Hikers and Okie Dokies groups. They spent many winters in Harlingen, Texas.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Jean of the home and three sons. Jeff of Bixby, OK; Brad and his wife Karen of Broken Arrow, OK; James and his wife Penni of Broken Arrow, OK; and two grandchildren, Lindsey Bouse of Broken Arrow and Josh Bouse of Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the South Tulsa Baptist Church, 10310 S Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373
