Delmer Lee Bruton, Sr., 82, of Kellyville passed from this life Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born on August 13, 1937 to Thomas and Maggie (Kelley) Bruton in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was number 6 of 11 siblings.

In 1960 he met the love of his life Donna LaJune Hood. They married in August of 1961. They had their first child Trinda in 1962, followed by Lanaya in 1966 and Delmer Jr. in 1969. His early career was in oilfield work and he worked on a lot them. Later he turned to the trucking industry like his brothers. He drove many miles trucking. He enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were favorites, especially with family.

Delmer was a Christian and loved the Lord and spent many hours reading his bible. He was sure to let you know that it is the "greatest story ever told!"

Delmer was preceded in death by his wife LaJune; parents Tom and Maggie Bruton and brothers Ronnie and Willie Bruton.

He is survived by his daughters Trinda and husband Pete, Lanaya and husband Allen; son Delmer Jr. and wife Patricia; 8 grandchildren Jaquetta Berry, Natasha Haggard, James Alexander, William Palmer, Caleb Palmer, Kristin Hurst, Cody Bruton and Dustin Springs and 20 great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Traditions Funeral Chapel, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma.
