IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna Faye
Harden
November 7, 1948 – November 20, 2020
Donna Faye Harden became fully healed and pain free the morning of Friday, November 20, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Donna was born on November 7, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri to Don Ray and Dorothy Gaither.
Donna was a very talented cake decorator and enjoyed working at Reasor's and Food Pyramid that later became Albertsons. She retired from decorating after 20 plus years. She was a hard worker and loved to stay busy. She enjoyed gardening, baking, shopping at all the area thrift stores and loved to go to garage sales. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and watching her grandkids grow up.
Donna was a lifelong member of Midway Full Gospel Church in Tulsa, there was no place she would rather be than church worshiping the Lord. When she was unable to be in the Lords house, she watched services online. She was a prayer warrior and could often be heard praying for her children and grandchildren's salvation.
Donna was a precious gem to all that knew her. She loved, no LOVED, her sweets, Pepsi and Ginger Ale. You could almost always go in her bedroom and find a stash of yummy sweets along with a Pepsi or Canada Dry to wash it down with. She had an infectious laugh, huge heart and loved her friends, family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father Don Ray Gaither; mother Dorothy Canady; stepfather George Canady; brother Gary Gaither; stepbrothers Kenneth, Rodger and Joe Canady.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and husband Gene Watkins of Sapulpa; sons Dewayne Harden and partner Christina Smith of Enid, Kenneth and wife Tabitha of Kellyville; brother Jim and wife Jan Gaither of Seneca, Missouri; stepsister Karen Canady of Sapulpa; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Celebration of life will be 11:00am, Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Midway Full Gospel Church with Rev. Lonnie Duckett officiating. A dinner will follow in the fellowship hall for all who want to attend.
Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
