Douglas Wade Hammons, 37, of Sapulpa, passed from this life on Monday, June 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Douglas was born April 7, 1988, in Sapulpa to Art Hammons and Tammie Hammons. He was employed by Bennett Cahill Contractors, where he worked at St. Francis Hospital for 15 years. Douglas enjoyed spending time with his kids, working out and working in the yard. He had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by the love of his life, his ex-wife Gemi Smith Hammons; children Dallas Wade Hammons and Aries Cheyenne Hammons; parents Art Dale Hammons (aka Butch Hurst) and Tammie Lee Hammons; brother Nicholas Dewayne Hammons and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will take place at Coalition Church, 24543 West Hwy 33, Sapulpa, Oklahoma beginning at 1pm, Saturday, June 21, 2025. Services will be 2pm, Saturday, June 21, 2025, also at the Coalition Church in Sapulpa.
