Edna Pauline Norman-Sipes, 85, went to be with the Lord August 21, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was born to R.A. and Pauline Norman on February 12, 1936, in Alton, Illinois.

In her adult life her vocation was nursing.  She worked many years in South Texas as a doctor's assistant.  She made her way to Oklahoma in 1969 and again she got work as a doctor's assistant for many years and later worked with hospice and did private patient care.

In 1974 in Norman, Oklahoma she married Wesley A. Sipes of Oktaha, Oklahoma.  Out of that union came twin daughters Amber Dawn and Andra Dione Sipes.

Edna was preceded in death by twin daughters Amber Dawn Sipes and Andra Dione Sipes; parents R.A. and Pauline Norman and one sister Charolette Marie Norman.

She is survived by grandson Dorian Gray Sipes, who was her most beloved light and joy of her life; brother R.A. Norman Jr. (Sonny) and wife Marilyn of Wagoner, Oklahoma; sisters Marye Nicholas of Coweta, Oklahoma, Sharon Roberts of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Deborah Gallagher and husband John of Yukon, Oklahoma and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and many many friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
