Forest Sundown Howard, 83, passed from this life May 25, 2020 at his home. Sundown was born September 2, 1936 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Omer and Agnes Howard.

He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes Charles and his father Omer Ray Howard; son Omer Don Howard; sister Laverne Wright; brothers Duncan Charles, Bill Thompson, Jack McGuire and Ed McGuire.

Sundown was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He had a great sense of humor, and he loved his family very much. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Sundown is survived by daughter Sherry Rame and husband Barry of Mannford, Oklahoma; sons Mike Jeffries and wife Vicki of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Jim Howard of Bremerton, Washington; grandchildren Amber Howard, Beau Jeffries and Austin Jeffries and wife Shaina; sisters Pat Williges of Clear Lake Oaks, California, Thailia Pinkham of Merlin, Oregon and Doris Anderson of Kiefer, Oklahoma; brothers Harvey Howard and wife Delores of Mounds, Oklahoma, Jimmy Howard and wife Evelyn of Homer, Louisiana, Kenny Charles of Mounds, Oklahoma and Doyle Charles of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, May 29, 2020, at Traditions Funeral Chapel, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Lamberson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, Kellyville, 918-247-7373.
