Obituary

Harold Ray Neal was born on June 24, 1955, He departed this life for Heaven on December 31, 2025. He was born in Broken Arrow Oklahoma to Harold Lee Neal and Nora Lee Neal. His arrival made him the 8th grandchild to Ira and Gladys Roberts, the 12th grandchild of Thomas and Ollie Neal. The 50th great-grandchild to Katie Baker. He was raised at 824 N. Hickory in Broken Arrow. Much of his childhood was spent at places like "Gerts", "Grandma Roberts" and "The Cabin". The playmates of his childhood were his aunts and cousins. There are many stories of him fishing with willow leaves and catching perch that Grandma Roberts would clean and cook for him and Rebecca, his aunt. He was a graduate from Broken Arrow High School; he would often tell us of the time he drove both sides of Main Street on the sidewalks. Some of his first jobs included the Coop in BA, The tire shop, Mr. B's bowling alley.  He completed welding classes from Vo-Tech and graduated as a welder from high school.

The biggest event of Harold's life was his salvation on April 30,1975 in an old-fashioned revival at House of Prayer, 66th S. Mingo Tulsa OK. The minister in this revival was Bro. Aaron Brock a young minister from Kentucky. On November 23, 2025, Harold was in church for his last service and Bro. Aaron Brock delivered the message that morning.

On August 7, 1975, Harold married Carla Walker, this union was blessed with three children.  Tomas Lee Neal, Kenneth Ray Neal, and Sara Beth Neal-Scott. From these children the following grandchildren, Leanna (Neal) Holloway, Kaitlyn Neal, Tara (Neal) Heard, Kelsey (Neal) Dean, Grace (Neal) Jones, Jathan Scott, Kaleb Neal, and Kaleigh Neal claim Harold as their "Papa".  In addition to the grands - Harold has two great Grandsons, Stetson, Emmit Heard, and a Great Granddaughter-Dean on the way.

In addition to the children, he is survived by his sister Maria Neal Scott, her children, Rachel and Jason Scott.  As well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents and his baby sister Glenda Gale Neal.  There are many stories of fishing, hunting, camping, trucks, horse and wagon rides; please share these and keep those memories alive.

Harold for years passed out cards that said "If we meet and you forget me, You have lost nothing; But if you meet Jesus Christ and forget him you have lost everything" Harold would like for you to make plans to meet him in heaven.
