Helen M. Martelle, 92, of Sapulpa, OK, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 21, 1933, to Cora M. (Stanberry) and Leroy Martin, Helen was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church, where her faith and music intertwined. A graduate of Sapulpa High School (1951) and attendee of Oklahoma State University, she married her beloved husband, Joseph Earl "Bud" Martelle, Jr., on September 6, 1953. Together, they raised three daughters: Kathryn Joan, Carla Ann, and Corilee Louise.

Helen's passion for music defined her life. She taught piano for decades, played organ and piano for multiple churches, including First Christian and Southside Christian in Sapulpa, and later served as pianist for First United Methodist Church in Kellyville for eight years. Alongside Bud, she ran Martelle's Music Studio and briefly owned the Sapulpan Drive In. Her professional life included roles as a secretary/accountant for the Tulsa Area Safety Council, Sapulpa Historical Museum, Kellyville Clerk/Treasurer, and Sapulpa Daily Herald.

Above all, Helen cherished her family, striving to be a Godly wife and mother. She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn (Larry) Coppock, Carla Taylor, and Corilee Williams; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Molly, Lyle, Carl, and Robert, and her husband, Bud.

Helen's legacy of faith, music, and love endures. She prayed her family would walk with God, reuniting in Heaven.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Monday, May 26, 2025, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be 2pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the First Christian Church in Sapulpa.
