Helen Joy was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on September 22, 1953 to Otto and Helen A. (Price) Dickens. She was their only daughter and youngest of their 5 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Dale and Kenneth Dickens, and her husband Ronald Duane Tennant.

She is survived by her 2 brothers, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, including her nephew Kyle Dickens and his family who become her Caregivers; and a multitude of family and friends.

Joy attended Kiefer First Christian Church for many years. She held many different jobs in her life, but worked as a Computer Specialist for many years at BP Amoco before becoming disabled.

Joy had an unending, unwavering love for her family. Her desire was that ALL of them would make it to Heaven. She didn't want any of them to be lost.

Joy will be greatly missed by all those who truly loved her.

Services will be 2:00pm, Monday, March 4, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Kiefer, Oklahoma. Arrangement are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK 918-247-7373.
