Henry Cleveland Akin, 81 of Sapulpa, passed into his eternal life November 10, 2023, at his home surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer.

"Hank" was born November 28, 1941, in Springfield, MO. to Edward Lee and Myrtle Alice Akin. He graduated from OSU Tech where he studied Diesel Engineering and he worked until his retirement in 2010.

Hank married the love of his life Linda Crabtree on September 30, 1961.

He enjoyed spending time outside sitting by his truck watching the squirrels, drinking Budweiser until dark, and picking on his grandkids.

He had a compassionate and caring heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by those who love him.

He is survived by wife Linda; sons Danny, Michael, and Troy; son-in-love Jose and daughter Malissa; sister Barbara Stafford; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 20, 2023, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK, 918-247-7373.
