Jackson Lee Bass 92, of Sapulpa, OK joined his loving wife, Nancy Pat and parents Elmer and Katie Bass on March 19, 2026.
Jack AKA Sam was born October 1, 1933 in Hooker Oklahoma to Elmer and Katie Bass. He graduated from Beaver High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry from Oklahoma State University. He was employed by the Federal Land Bank, Judge Wesley Whittlesey and subsequently the Federal Housing Administration as an appraiser where he retired in 1996.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1958 and then entered the army reserves until 1960.
In 1961 he married the love of his life Nancy Pat Collins and were together until her passing in December, 2008.
He loved the rodeo and was a member of the Professional Bull Riders Association.
Jack also loved to fish and hunt from the time of his youth in Cortez, Colorado and continued to do so until the passing of family members prevented him from continuing.
He was a truly caning person and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Steve and Barbara Collins and niece Cathy Jones and nephew Michael Collins.
Services will be Tuesday March 24, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at the Traditions Funeral home in Kellyville, OK.
Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
