IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James (Jj)
L. Savage Jr.
June 7, 1990 – May 7, 2024
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of James L. Savage Jr. (JJ), tragically taken from us too soon. On the morning of Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, JJ entered the gates of Heaven. He was born on June 7, 1990, to James Savage Sr. and Johnna Hawkinson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. JJ graduated from Glenpool High School and received his CNC machining certification from Tulsa Technology Center, where he excelled and won awards during machining competitions.
JJ was a devoted family man and worked hard to support his loved ones. His greatest joy was his daughter, Alivia, whom he adored and cherished.
In loving memory of JJ, whose genuine, infectious humor and charismatic presence brought joy to all he knew. JJ remained a beacon of optimism, throughout this life's challenges. He was a believer in the Lord and his absence here on Earth will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
JJ is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Blackford and Carole Sanders; grandfather, Peter Savage; stepmother, Donna Savage (Mama Bear); sister, Autumn Ozbun; and Aunt, Randa Sanders.
He is survived by his daughter, Alivia; parents, James & Johnna; siblings, Scott Dolbow, Amber Mitchell, Jessica Sheldon, John Ozbun (Bubba), and Beau Savage; numerous nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.
You gave no one a last farewell, nor ever said good-bye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. A million times we will cry. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home. We will meet again someday I know in a better place. I thank God, He made you, our cherished son, beloved brother, and sweet friend, James L. Savage Jr. (JJ).
A celebration of JJ's life will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at 2pm at Traditions Funeral Home in Kellyville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK 918-247-7373.
