James Richmond, 70, of Kiefer, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2025.

James was born on December 1, 1954, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Jim and Josie Richmond. He received his GED in his 30's and was employed by Muncie Power Products as a machinist, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service.

James met and later married the love of his life, Barbara Sue Upton. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Ana and James. He had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. James was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Garcia; his parents, Jim and Josie Richmond; his brother, Jimmy Richmond; and his sister, Janice Richmond.

James is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Richmond; grandchildren, Ana Richmond-Garcia and James Garcia; sisters, Kay Stinnett and Sharon Curtis; and a host of other relatives, friends, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of James's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Richmond Family Home, 14118 S. 65th W. Ave., Kiefer, OK.
