Jamie Janette Nimmo 48, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 14, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by her family.
Jamie was born January 23, 1976, in Tulsa, OK to Ron and Mary Vann. She graduated from Glenpool High School and attended classes at TCC.
Jamie met and later married the love of her life James Edward Nimmo. They had 27 loving years together, during which time they were blessed with four children. She grew up attending First Apostolic Church of Tulsa where she was an Outreach Team Leader, a Sunday School teacher and volunteered at the church school. Her family later moved to New Life Tabernacle where she served as part of the Saved and Sober Team, the Outreach Ministry and was in charge of designing, planting and caring for the decorative planters on the church grounds.
Jamie was a homemaker and homeschooled her children. She enjoyed spending her free time caring for her plants, drawing, painting, reading, antique shopping and spending time with family and friends.
She had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to give to and help anyone in need. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary and brother Devin.
She is survived by her loving husband Jimmy, her children; Katie, JJ, Hannah, and Joseph, grandchild Adrien, her father Ron, sisters and brothers; Gayla, Carrie, Ronnie, Mistie, Michael, Christefer and Kassie, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at New Life Tabernacle 13107 W. 41st St. S. Sand Springs, OK 74063.
