Mary Janet Watson, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, was born September 15, 1961, at Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa to Chuck and Paula Watson. She went home to be with her Savior on September 17, 2026, at the age of 65.

Janet was the youngest daughter in a large family and a little sister to Charlene, Charles, Carol, and Norma. Growing up, she loved playing baseball, kickball, and just about anything that let her join in. She graduated from Sapulpa High School, and blue was her favorite color.

On June 21, 1984, Janet welcomed her only daughter, Paula Jan Watson, whom she named after her beloved mother. Janet and Paula Jan spent much time together, including trips to Silver Dollar City with Janet’s mother. Her niece Rita joined them whenever she could.

Janet loved fishing and caught some monster bass at Okmulgee Lake. She was a devoted fan of the OU Sooners and Denver Broncos, cheering them on through every win and loss. She also rooted for the Kellyville Ponies.

Janet had a remarkable memory for birthdays. She remembered those of her family members, including her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Her family and friends will each carry a cherished memory of her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Watson, and her oldest sister, Charlene. She is survived by her mother, Paula Watson; her daughter, Paula Jan Watson; her brother, Charles; her sisters, Carol and Norma; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
