Janis (Jan) Anne Shatswell was born on April 22, 1948, to William Brunner and Marion J. Mailer. Jan passed from this life on December 27, 2023.

Jan was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was fiercely devoted to her family. She had a generous nature. She was a fabulous seamstress and homemaker who could turn the humblest items into a treasure. She was an eclectic soul who loved so many various things like music, gardening, bargain hunting, and her cats. She was always up for an adventure. Those who knew her, loved her. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memories and what she has taught us will remain through the generations.

Jan was preceded in death by her father William; brother Robert, and grandson Ryan.

She is survived by loved ones include her mother Marion; sisters Amanda and Katrina; brother Paul; daughter Tania; sons William and wife Jolene and Wesley and wife Joyce; grandchildren Lee, Levi, Lane and Sarah, Chelsea, Leslie, Kylee, Kylie, Allen and Vanessa and several great- grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Beggs First Baptist Church, 110 W 5th St., Beggs, OK 74421 from 2pm to 4pm.
