Obituary

Jerry Glen Wilson 76, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, went to walk with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

He was born on September 8, 1944, to Lawrence and Louise Wilson in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1962.  Jerry worked for Dresser Engineering before retiring in the mid 90's.  He met the love of his life, Gladys Rice, and they made their home in Sapulpa where they raised their two children and were blessed with 52 years of marriage.

Jerry adored his family and friends, but he especially loved being "Papa" to his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed collecting antiques and listening to classic rock and roll music.  He had a very giving heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. He was an active member of Westside Baptist Church for many years and later attended The Way Church.

Jerry is enjoying his heavenly reunion with his parents, Lawrence and Louise Wilson, and brother, Charles Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Wilson, daughter Jennifer Martin and husband Kirk, son Greg Wilson and wife Amy, grandsons Jase Martin and wife Mariah, Kade Martin and Leyton Wilson, and granddaughter Jaylan Martin.  He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Wilson and wife Connie, Larry Wilson and wife Ruth, and Lawrence Wilson Jr. and wife Kathy, as well as sister-in-law Gay Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews.
