Jim Ray Brownfield 58, of Sapulpa, OK, danced into heaven on August 29, 2026 at the hospital in Dallas, TX, surrounded by his family.

Jim was born May 2, 1968 in Okmulgee, OK to James and Charline Brownfield. He graduated from Dewar High School. After graduation he was employed by Keystone Construction Services. Shortly after that, he went on to start a 35+ year career in the glass industry, working his way up from a floor hand to corporate management.

Jim met and later married his princess, as he called her, Angela Stroud. They recently celebrated 35 years of marriage. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Glenpool where he was baptized and then spent many years raising his children.

Jim enjoyed spending time with family, especially hearing the pitter patter of his grandkids feet running across the floor. He enjoyed buggy riding, porch sitting, pool time and family cookouts, anything where family and friends were together.

Everyone knew that he had the biggest heart, would give the shirt off his back to anyone, and was a great example of how we should love and protect our friends and family. He lived by the slogan, Work Hard Play Hard.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his loving wife Angela Brownfield.

His children: Son, Colton Brownfield and wife Ashley. Daughter, Emily Lahr and husband Ronnie. Built in son, Lane Conner. Grandchildren: Weston, Walker and Wrenley Brownfield;Stormie and Summer Lahr and one on the way. Sister: Lisa Webb and husband Dewayne.And a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be Thursday, September 3, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Sapulpa.

Family visitation/viewing will be Wednesday, September 2, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
