IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jimmy And
Jaclyn Doss-Maxey
December 1, 2024
Jimmy Ray Maxey & Jaclyn Dawn Maxey
Jimmy Ray Maxey, Jr., 35 and Jaclyn Dawn Doss-Maxey, 30, were together fifteen years. Together they raised five beautiful children. Their combined funeral service is being held Friday, December 6, 2024, to honor their lives and the love they shared. Their love was passionate, limitless, and it is eternal.
Jimmy was born August 7th, 1989, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He is the son of Jimmy Ray Maxey, Sr. and Kathy (Lodes) McCormack (Husband Bill). Jaclyn was born on April 19, 1994, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David and Tammra Doss. Together the two were parents to Erin, 16, Jesse, 14, Casey, 12, Emily, 10, and Wyatt, 9. They were the loves of their lives.
Jimmy was a brother to Jennifer and (Josh) Stewart and Jonah and (Brooke) Buller. He called Peggy Maxey, Carolyn (Cox) and Harvey Torix, Ronald and Hope Lodes grandparents. He was preceded in death by Papa Judge Maxey and Billie Barker. Jaclyn has one brother Joshua Doss and Grandparents Jackie and Patricia (Pat) Wood and Great Grandmother Ellen Wray.
Jimmy graduated with a degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration. He was employed for nine years by Enterprise where he enjoyed interacting with his colleagues. Jaclyn took pride in being a stay-at-home mom. She was an avid photographer and documented much of the children's lives. These will be photos the whole family will cherish.
Jimmy will be missed for his quick wit and love for jest and laughter. Jaclyn will be missed for her compassion, sense of humor and personality. Jimmy and Jaclyn loved being in nature, camping, the lake, and all animals, especially reptiles. They shared these loves with their children. But more than anything Jaclyn and Jimmy enjoyed a long ride on a motorcycle with friends. We hope in heaven these two will ride free!
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Traditions Funeral Home in Kellyville. Services will be 10am, Friday, December 6, 2024, also at Traditions Funeral Home with burial to follow at Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral Home.
