IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan
Lynn
April 5, 1931 – October 23, 2021
Joan Lynn was born to Reid and Opal Morris, April 5, 1931 in Blue Mountain, Arkansas. Her family including her brother Farrell Reid Morris relocated to Oklahoma in the late 1930's and settled in the small north central town of Fairfax where during WWII the family started a roadside produce market and grocery store called the "Morris Drive Inn." Joan loved growing up in the grocery business and learned business and finance with the help of her mother and father. She met Leon Lynn in 1949 and they married on September 15, 1950. Being a city girl, she reluctantly moved to the big bend area and became a farmers wife. Raising her new family she followed wherever God's hand took them.
Mom loved The Lord and especially Gospel music which she kept playing on her "stereo" continuously and exposing the children to the Presence of The Lord and helped to make the Lynn home a happy one.
Upon moving to Jenks in 1967, the family re-adjusted and began the spiritual journey that would give her, her dream of a "Ministry Family."
In 1979 she began to do bookkeeping for New Hope Crusades and Luis Torres Ministries while her son traveled with the team. She worked in this capacity for several years. When Praise Center Ministries was formed in 1994, she took on the books for it as well at the age of 63. She would continue to be the financial officer of Praise Center Ministries doing what she loved until retiring at the age of 89 in 2019.
She then enjoyed resting and watching Sonlife Broadcasting Network daily and Hallmark Movies with her sweetheart our dad. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren above anything in life, waiting for every opportunity to be with them, and prayed over them continually.
She enjoyed her weekly visit to the beauty shop and dinner with whichever children or grandchildren could join she and dad. She will be best remembered as LOVE Personified and a 5 Star Prayer Warrior.
Mom passed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her husband and children around her on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the age of 90 years 6 months and 18 days. She is survived by her husband Leon of Bixby, Oklahoma; son Larry and daughter-in-love Pam of Kellyville, Oklahoma, daughter Linda Pereff of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son Randy and daughter-in-love Vickie of Bixby, Oklahoma; grandchildren Stephen Pereff and wife Stefanykay of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Travis Crawford and wife Elizabeth of Hickory Creek, Texas, Scott Lynn and wife Shawna of Kellyville, Oklahoma, Jesse Morgan Crawford of Ponder, Texas, Christopher Lynn and wife Brooke of Poteau, Oklahoma, Justin Lynn and wife Lauren of Bixby, Oklahoma, Alex Lynn and wife Mariah of Glenpool, Oklahoma; great- grandchildren Austin Crawford and wife Kelsey of Marysville, Washington., Casey Crawford- stationed in Spain, Andrew Lynn, Natalie Lynn, Mikayla Lynn, Stephenie Pereff, Gracie Pereff, Gavin Pereff, Hazel Grace Lynn, John Anthony Lynn, Xander Matthew Lynn; great-great-grandchild Judah Carl Crawford; and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
