John Hollingshad, 83, of Kellyville, passed from this life on August 13th, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

John was born November 3, 1941, in Sapulpa to Charles and Jeanetta Hollingshad. He graduated from Kellyville High School in 1960. He was a mechanic and worked on big equipment for various concrete companies and retired from Keystone Equipment in 2005.

He married the love of his life, Kathryn Swan, in July 1960 shortly after they graduated. They recently celebrated 65 years together.

John enjoyed hunting and going to the casino. What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He loved for everyone to get together every Sunday for dinner.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn; daughter Kim Romine and husband Mike; daughter-in-law LaDawna Hollingshad; grandchildren Ashley and husband Josh Mancuso, Shelbe' Hollingshad, Gunner Hollingshad and fiancé Liz Schweder, Katie Davis and husband Brandon; great grandchildren Charlie Jane Taylor, Barrett and Parks Davis; sister Aloha Duncan and husband Duane and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Little John; parents Charles and Jeanetta; brothers LeRoy, Leon and Philip and sister Pickle Badgett.

He was loved by so many and never met a stranger.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 10:00am at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville, OK.
