John David Kame, age 76, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Born on September 15, 1948, John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love for the outdoors and classic cars left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Kame and Dorothy Marie Kame; his brothers Ernest "Rod" Kame and Billy Kame; and his sisters Wilma Morris and Thelma Griffith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Debra Fay (Wilson) Kame, whom he married on May 13, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they built a life full of love, family, and adventure. John is also survived by his son, James Kame and wife Bonnie of Sand Springs, and daughter, Mary Ann Trotter and husband Jason of Sand Springs and brother Jimmie Ray Kame. He was a proud grandfather to Skeet, Sissy, Jessica, Jacelyn, and Jaxon "Scout," and a beloved great-grandfather to Kaden, Logan, Brylee, Kason, Jenson, and Jaxton and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

John was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and camping. He had a passion for collecting vintage cars and enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle. His stories, laughter, and mechanical know-how will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
