Kala Herl 60, of Mounds, passed from this life on October 16, 2022, while surrounded by family.

Kala was born September 26, 1962, at Tinker Air Force Base to Gail and Jim Wagoner. She was later adopted by Isaac and Lilly Kellogg in 1967. She graduated from Sapulpa High School, then went on to work in clerical, data entry, and accounting roles in Tulsa.

She enjoyed activities such as softball and bowling, watching her shows, reading, and listening to music. She liked to cook and gather for meals with family and friends. She frequented a bible study group with women in her apartment community and with Mobile Missions. She also enjoyed some crafts, especially her diamond art.

She was a kind natured soul, very compassionate and giving. She enjoyed a good laugh and was uplifting. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Rachel Hunter, mother Lilly Kellogg, brothers Brent Kellogg and Glenn Kellogg, family friend Saunca Weaver, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
