Karen Ann Hans was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family and friends. Karen was born on May 7, 1965, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Ben and Alice Cooper, and was raised in Sand Springs and Sapulpa. She worked for several years as a bookkeeper at Gateway Community Services, owned and operated her own cell phone store, and served as an armed security guard.

Karen enjoyed family holidays, spending time at the lake, and listening to old music while cooking with her sisters. She was known as the rock of her family.

Karen leaves behind many who loved her dearly, including her two sons, Anthony Wynn and Christopher Hans of Tulsa; grandkids, Ocean and Isiah, and two great-grandkids. Karen is also survived by her sister, Sharon Whitehead and husband Steve of Sapulpa, brother-in-law, Wayne Momsen of Enid, as well as her two brothers, Michael Cooper of Tulsa, and Terry Cooper of Enid, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Alice Cooper, brothers Ben Cooper and Eugene Jack, and baby sister Linda Momsen.

A wake and visitation for Karen will be held Tuesday, October 5th from 5 pm to 8 pm at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 6th at 2 pm, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville, Oklahoma, with burial to follow at Cooper Cemetery.

Karen was a beautiful soul with a contagious laugh who will be sorely missed. The family finds solace that Karen now rests with her heavenly father.
