Karen (Crane) Janiece Gibson, 68, of Mounds, passed from this life Thursday, October 28, 2021.  She was born February 28, 1953, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Mary Mosquito.

Karen was a graduate from Liberty Mounds High School and was a lead scheduling analyst for Avis Rental Car for 39 years.  She met Ted Tiger (Papa) in 2005. She enjoyed going to the Casino, watching her children and grandchildren play sports and loved spending time with family and friends.  She had the biggest smile, was fun to be around and always made people laugh. She was so loved and will be missed by many.

Karen is survived by Ted Tiger (Papa); children Troy Dye of Hectorville, Lance Gibson of Hectorville, Jeffery Gibson of Hectorville, Cara Alexander of Hectorville and Brett Alexander of Stillwater; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother James Mosquito and wife Delores; sisters Debbie Watashe, Donna Brannon and Grace Jones; aunt Bobbie Deere of Hectorville and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by mother Mary Lewis Mosquito; grandmother Katie Fox; brother Michael Lewis and uncle Dennis Fulsom.

Wake services will be 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Morning Star Evangelistic Center, 14248 Hectorville Rd., Mounds, Oklahoma.  Services will be 10:00am, November 3, 2021, also at Morning Star Evangelistic Center.  Burial will follow at Fox Family Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S.
