Kenneth Robert Walters of Mounds, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at the age of 72.

Kenneth was born in New York on September 17, 1948, to father, Kenneth L. Wescott and mother, Matilda D. Garnsey. The second of five brothers, Kenny and his family relocated to Santa Barbara, CA in 1951. From a young age Kenny was known for his courage, authenticity, intensity, and loyalty. These qualities not only laid the institution on which he built many lifelong friendships but also ultimately helped to solidify his decision to enlist in the U.S. Marines.

Kenny proudly served two tours in Vietnam before returning to California where spent the next 35 years dedicating himself to fatherhood and his professional life. Kenneth met Dianne Bushman in 1993, it was love at first sight. His next 27 years were spent blending their families and building an everlasting foundation, their love continues to be truly immeasurable.

In 2005 Kenny and Dianne took one of their greatest adventures together and relocated to Oklahoma. Together they developed their 10-acre ranch into the home of their dreams and settled into a slower pace of life.

He is survived by his wife Dianne Bushman-Walters, two children: Shawn Walters, and Devin Walters, 8 grandchildren Sarah and Aaron Culley, Emily and Brandon DelaCruz, Shawn Walters, Mary Walters, Christopher Walters and Liam Walters. Eight great-grandchildren; Addison Culley , Rylie Culley , Dayton Culley , Kennedy Culley, Zander DelaCruz , Landon DelaCruz, Gavin DelaCruz , Serenity DelaCruz as well as countless extended family and dear friends. All held him in the highest regard and loved him deeply.

A memorial for Kenny will be held at Traditions Funeral Home, 35 S Main St, Kellyville, OK 74039 on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11am. All are invited to attend. An honorary toast and celebration of life will follow at 6:30pm at Kenny's final resting spot on the family's ranch.
