IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kevin Dale
Smock
January 10, 1968 – June 11, 2023
Kevin Dale Smock aka "The Smockavillie" of Bixby, Oklahoma formally of Harrisburg, Illinois, has passed from this life and went home to be with Jesus. He stepped into Heaven on June 11, 2023, at exactly 10:49 pm. He was surrounded by people who loved and cherished him while on this earth.
Kevin was born January 10, 1968, in Anna, Illinois to the beautiful Ruth Anne Skelton. He graduated from the school of Hard Knocks receiving a P.H.D. which he held in his hand while working as a "post hole digger". He was employed by a variety of contractors where he worked giving them his best. Still, even on his weakest days he wanted to help in some way.
Kevin loved with all his heart and gave 100% every time. He loved his family and would always talk about his son Nathan and all his grandbabies whom he cherished whole heartedly. He rededicated his life to Jesus and has never looked back since. Although no man is perfect Kevin strived to be, making mistakes and falling along the way and at times it was very hard, he always got up again.
Kevin loved going to church and enjoyed the music and Pastor Randy preaching. He especially loved Sunday nights and Wednesday nights when the pastor would teach. His smile was captivating and always made someone that was down feel better. Kevin loved making people laugh and was very good at it! He loved to fish and camp by river, he was an outdoors man, loved being one with God's creatures. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Anne Skelton and stepfather Harry Riddle Sr.
Kevin is survived by son Nathan Dale Hill; grandchildren Landon, Malik, Dallas, Chevy and Walker; brothers Brian Stafford, Mike Stafford; stepbrother Harry Riddle Jr.; sisters Dana Leslie, Tina Smock, Vicki Murrie and stepsister Marilyn Kay Morgan and multiple nieces and nephews.
