Lana Beatrice Stubblefield, 73, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born January 2, 1948, in Fresno, California to Reo and Faye (Rowan) Rice.
Lana was a graduate of Mounds High School and attended Oklahoma School of Business. After completing business school, she was employed in the Oil and Gas industry as an executive secretary.
Lana met the love of her life Charles Stubblefield, and they were married on October 24, 1968, at the home of Jim and Jo Hyder in Sapulpa. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake, relaxing movie nights, and going on walks. However, above all her passions were being a mom, wife, grandmother, and sister. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Stubblefield and her parents Reo and Faye Rice.
Lana is survived by sons Jason Stubblefield and wife Shannon of Sapulpa and Solen Renzelman Jr of Mounds; grandsons Kyle Stubblefield and Ryan Stubblefield; sisters Wanda Smith of Sapulpa, Josephine Little of Perkins and Gladys Wilson of Sapulpa and a host other relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation from 3:00-5:00pm, Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be 10:00am, Monday, December 20, 2021, at Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Sand Springs.
