Larry Loyad Simmons of Sapulpa, OK was born on December 10, 1951, and went to his heavenly home on June 30, 2025.

Larry truly loved the Lord and playing the guitar at church. He always had a positive attitude and never said a negative word about anyone. He loved to visit, laugh and eat; and also, was a great leather craftsman.

Larry is preceded by his father, Joe Loyad Simmons and his stepfather, Jimmy Bernard.

He is survived by his wife Denise Simmons, his beloved dog Toby, his mother Christina B. Bernard, his daughter Cherie Simmons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Larry's Life will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 7:00pm at Midway Full Gospel Church located at 6199 S. 80th West Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74131.
