LaVinia Ann Ellis, stepped into heaven on October 11, 2021, at her home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was 56 years old. She was born October 24, 1965, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was raised by William and Doris Hall. She graduated from Northside High School and attended West Ark Community College. She was a nail technician at JC Penny's for over 12 years.
She met and later married James Gilcrease. They were married 39 years. They had two sons, Jason and Joshua.
She was a member of Harvest Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma where she rededicated her life to the Lord and faithfully attended until her time of death.
In her spare time, she loved spending one on one time with her grandson Jayden Lee. She also enjoyed shopping with her mother, joking around and spending time with her two fur babies, Princess and Buddy. She had a caring and compassionate heart and loved to give a helping hand. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
She is survived by her father and mother William & Doris Hall; sons Jason Lee Gilcrease and Joshua Tyler Gilcrease; grandsons Jayden Lee Gilcrease and Jayden Gilbert; brother Billy Gene Ellis; best friend and soulmate James Gilcrease; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bobby Burns; nephew Ryan Burns and wife Ashley; niece Leah Dortch and husband Steele; great great niece Eleanor Elizabeth Burns; great great nephew Elias Steele Dortch; sister and brother-in-law Anita and Larry Ricketts; nephews Erik Ricketts and Jarrod Ricketts; great-nieces Erica and Eva Ricketts; great-nephews Gracen and Walker Ricketts; mother-in-law Patricia Gilcrease and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be October 23, 2021, at 10:00am at Harvest Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Honorary bearers will be Bobby Burns, Ryan Burns, Steele Dortch, Leah Dortch, John Duncan, Cliff Daggs and Danny Smith.
Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma.
