Leo Dale Smith of Sapulpa passed from this life on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Sapulpa. He was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on July 22, 1955 to Leo Edward and Grace Eilene Turner Smith.

Dale, known to his friends as Smitty, was a graduate of Sapulpa High School. He studied to be a machinist at Vo Tech during High School. He retired as a machinist after 31 years of service.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Grace Smith; wife Jeana Bales Smith and daughter Janie Grace Denny.

He is survived by granddaughter Peyton Denny; sisters Evelyn Acheson, Nelda Milburn and Erlene Carson and a host of other famly and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held May 12, 2025 at Heyburn Lake. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and prayers during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S Main in Kellyville, 918-247-7373.
